Promoting a Positive School Climate
We want all students to feel safe and included so that they can do their very best learning here at school. A positive learning and teaching environment is the foundation for learning. All members of the school community should feel safe, included, and accepted, and actively promote positive behaviors and interactions. It is expected that schools community members are always inclusive and respectful.
A positive school climate is supports and encourages kind words and actions and actively works to support and improve the learning conditions for students. Our school has a Safe and Accepting School Team that develops and maintains a Bullying Prevention and Intervention Plan. The team includes school staff and families. The collection of this personal information is done under the authority of the Education Act and in compliance with Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA); and is for safety reasons and property protection. Questions regarding video surveillance can be directed to the School Principal.
